Subject: SUPPORT - Resolution 363 -10 Disallowing Reef Fish Collection for Export
Aloha Council Members,
I enthusiastically support this resolution! Reef fish are critical to reef health,
beauty and abundance. They support both reef and open water ecosystems;' and are not
ornaments!
Healthy, abundant ecosystems support ALL of Hawai'i's people and visitors. From an
economic point of view, a thriving reef can potentially generate significant more revenue
from tourism than the price of those individual fish would bring if sold to aquarium fish
collectors.
Please pass Resolution 363 -10!
