Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred
Resolution 374 -10, reports as follows:
Resolution 374 -10, transmitted by the Deputy Corporation Counsel Gerald Takase, via
Communication No. 886 dated July 8, 2010, requests accepting the dedication of
Lots 19, 20, and 21 of the Sunset Ridge at Waikoloa, Phase 2, Increment 2, Unit 2 -A, to the
County of Hawai`i.
Article XIII, §13-12 of the Hawai`i County Charter provides that the Council may accept gifts
which include the dedication of land on behalf of the County of Hawaii.
There was no discussion.
Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Resolution 374 -10, and recommends its adoption.
