Re: Operating Budget
The Hawaii Fire Department is receiving an additional $37,187.50 from the State of
Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources for its Volunteer Fire Assistance

equipment for personnel at all of the fire stations. In the current fiscal year's budget,
$50,000 was appropriated in anticipation of this grant.
Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget and increasing the
Volunteer Fire Assistance account by $34,187.50.
