4 oL - os 4 4: <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII -� ��,'%r, :.'- STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 387 10 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF A WINDWARD BOATS <br /> INC. TRAILER FOR THE HAWAII FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Foundation has donated a new Windward Boats Inc. <br /> Trailer to the Hawaii Fire Department; and <br /> WHEREAS, the trailer, with a total estimated value of $11,975, will replace the existing rusted <br /> trailer used for Rescue Boat #7; and <br /> WHEREAS, this new trailer will provide a safe and reliable means of transporting the rescue boat; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13 -12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on <br /> behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Hawaii Fire Department recommends the acceptance of this donation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br /> in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13 -12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of <br /> Hawaii accepts this donation. <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this resolution be sent to <br /> Ms. Laura Mallery- Sayre, Daniel R. Sayre Memorial Foundation, P.O.
