RE: A Resolution Urging the Mayor and Administration to Explore the Potential for
an Agreement to Lease Land to the West Hawai`i Branch of the Hawai`i Island
Humane Society
The attached resolution being submitted for consideration urges the Mayor and the
Administration of the County to explore the potential of leasing County land to the West Hawai`i
branch of the Hawai`i Island Humane Society (HIHS).
The subject land is adjacent to the West Hawai`i branch of the HIHS.
Please place on the appropriate agenda for the next Council Committees meeting scheduled for
September 8, 2010.
