RE: Proposed Amendment to Bill 270, Draft 2; as Provi• - d in Communication No. 876.4
At the request of the Director of the Department of Public Works, please see below a proposed
amendment to the draft 2 for Bill 270 as provided in Communication No. 876.4.
The proposed amendments are to subsections (f) and (g) of Section 5 -28, and read as follows,
with amendments indicated via Ramseyer format with respect to the contents of the bill as
provided in Communication No. 876.4 (material to be deleted is bracketed and stricken, material
to be added is underscored):
"(f) If there is a change in the designation of any contractor for any phase of work subsequent to the issuance
of a permit, [and prior to the commencement of work,] the permittee shall submit the change in writing to
the building official [amt] requesting approval of the change[..-], and include a non - refundable
payment of $25 for the transferring of the building permit.
