Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations, to which was referred
Resolution 382 -10, reports as follows:
Resolution 382 -10, transmitted by Deputy Corporation Counsel Gerald Takase, via
Communication No. 916, dated August 18, 2010, requests accepting the grant of easement from
Kailua Kona Village Development Group, LLC for the installation of a traffic signal pole at the
corner of Ali`i Drive and Hualalai Road.
Council member Brenda Ford expressed concern over Kailua Kona not being hyphenated
throughout the language of Resolution 382 -10. Deputy County Clerk Rodney Oshiro opined this
punctuation will not disturb the efficacy of this resolution and that the authors at Corporation
Counsel shall be notified of the preferred punctuation in future documents.
Your Committee on Public Works and Intergovernmental Relations is in accord with the purpose
and intent of Resolution 382 -10 and recommends its adoption.
