Please approve a Public Hearing in reference to Bill 283 in order for the
Pahoa ommunity to actively comment in the many concerns we have
individually and collectively about the deficient ROADWAY
INFRASTRUCTURE now in place.
To date there is no beginning construction yet begun to open Kahakai
Boulevard to the Pahoa Bypass, as was stated at the previous Planning
Committee Meeting, which roadway' improment would be concuded by
November 31, 2010.
We understand Long's Drugstore is going to open for business October 31,
2010, 18 days before the projected opening of Kahakai to the Pahoa
Bypass.
We are not in agreement with the fact that NO Progress has yet begun to
open Kahakai to the Pahoa Bypass, and that there are plans to open
Long's before November 17, 2010.
For these obvious reasons and for the Democraticly Agreeabe Advent of
involving the Pahoa Community into the Process we again say to you to
vote in the Public Hearing concerning Bill 283, Please.
