Subject: Transmitting Bill 268, Draft 2; Relating to the Electrical Code (Chapter 9;
Hawai`i County Code)
Please find attached Bill 268, Draft 2. Per the request of the Department of Public Works, Bill
268 was amended with the contents of Communication No. 874.2, as duly approved by the
council during its meeting on September 9, 2010.
Bill 268, Draft 2, was subsequently postponed to the call of the Chair of the Council to allow the
Department of Public Works time to hold public meetings in east and west Hawai`i.
