Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill 199, reports as follows:
Bill No. 199, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 639,
dated January 24, 2000. amends Ordinance No. 99-70, as amended, the Operating Budget,
ending June 30, 2000. The amendment is as follows:

In 1998, the Office of Aging was selected to receive an award of $20,000 from the U.S.
Administration on Aging to assist its Performance Outcomes Measures Project. This project has
been extended through December 31, 2000, with an additional award of $10,000. All expenses
related to the project will be paid from the award.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 199, and
recommends it pass first reading.
