Privatization of Kamaoa Rd
Aloha, my name is Cameron Pulham and I reside on Kamaoa Road in Ka'u.
I would like to state for the record that I am in favor of the privatization of that portion
of Kamaoa Road known as Old Government Road. I grew up the Ka'u and as far as I can
remember back that there has been a gate there keeping cattle off the main roads. This
road should be kept private due to the fact that it would cost a great deal of money to the
state that would not benefit the state in any way. To spend all that money on a dead end
road seems point less in this economy, it is money that could be put to great use
somewhere else where it is needed like your school and the children of Hawaii. Not some
road that would benefit one person who already has a street access. There is no place to
go back there; therefore the road should be kept private
