privatization of government road in kau
hello,
this is to be entered as my testimony for the proposed privatization of government road
(extension of kamaoa road ) at southpoint road, kau. i can not attend the public meeting
as i am currently working in new york for the summer.
i live on southpoint road. most of my neighbors get along. it is a live and let live
community of mostly descent people. some bad apples, but everyone knows who they are.
there are some issues coming up that need your attention as our local representative.
it would be in everyones best interest if you did the right thing.
sometimes knowing what is the right thing is difficult, i would not want your job.
let me put on record here for the sake of this proposed resolution to privatize a public
road, it is not the right thing to do. i do not support the decision to privatize a
public access ever on the grounds that losing public access is forever. only a biased
personal opinion would decide in its favor. your position as our representative does not
allow for personal bias. please , remain impersonal and do the right thing here. a
decision of this order will impact all those that
come after us. a wiser one than i once referred to the possibility of
considering each decision being made for at least 7 generations. that is a lot of
responsibility for our elected representatives. you have the opportunity to do the tight
thing now. please, be careful.
