AMENDMENTS TO PUNA COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PLAN ( "B E. , 94 ")
Dear Chair Yoshimoto, Councilmembers, Chair Ikeda and Members cf the Committee on Planning:
I have reviewed the proposed amendments to the Puna Community Development Plan ( "Puna CDP)"
that are included in Bill 194 initiated by the County Council on December 18, 2009 and concur with
the Planning Director's May 11, 2010 favorable recommendation to amend the Puna CDP.
I strongly support the proposed amendments to the Puna CDP contained in Bill 194 and concur with
the Planning Director's favorable recommendation to amend the Puna CDP, as those amendments are
consistent with the goals, objectives and policies of the General Plan.
