I have reviewed the proposed amendme s to the Puna Community Development Pa, ( "Puna CDP)"
that are included in Bill 194 initiated by e County Council on December 18, 2009 and concur with
the Planning Director's May 11, 2010 fa orable recommendation to amend the Puna CDP.
I strongly support the proposed amendm •nts to the Puna CDP contained in Bill 194 and concur with
the Planning Director's favorable reco endation to amend the Puna CDP, as those amendments are
consistent with the goals, objectives and ftolicies of the General Plan_
