Aloha from the Puna District of the Big Island. I am writing this letter of support for Mr. Paul Osagawara
whom I have known for over 25 years.
Over the last few decades, I have collaborated with Paul and his establishment in many community
endeavors. I have always respected his efforts to hire local youth and their family members. He has
taught many people the value of a strong work ethic and the importance of being a community
contributor. They have learned respect and discipline in the workplace as well as the rewards of a
paycheck and the pride in a job well -done.
Whenever Paul's Repair Service is asked for donations for the high school, he has always given
generously! He supports our athletics, student body activities, and our academics. In recent years, Paul
and his family have contributed scholarship and financial aid to Pahoa High and Intermediate School's
graduates pursuing a degree in Business. Last year, he doubled the amount of the contribution, allowing
more local youngsters to pursue a post- secondary education.
Personally, I have been saved on the road and received exemplary auto service from Paul's, as have
many Puna residents over the years. I have respect and appreciation for Mr. Paul Osagawara and his
family. He has a heart for his community.
