SUBJECT: Approval of a Resolution Authorizing the Exemption of
Certain Hawai'i County Code Requirements, Pursuant to
Section 201H -38 of the Hawai'i Revised Statutes for
the Proposed Kamakana Villages at Keahuolu Master -
Planned Mixed -Use Affordable Housing Project.
The Office of Housing and Community Development (OHCD) submitted
the above - listed Resolution and Appropriation Ordinance to the
Hawai'i County Housing Agency and received approval on October
5, 2010. The votes for the Resolution and Appropriation
Ordinance are as follows:
AYES: G. Enriques, K. Greenwell, D. Ikeda, E. Naeole,
D. Onishi, J. Yoshimoto, - -6
NOES: B. Ford, P. Hoffmann, D. Yagong - -3
ABSENT AND EXCUSED: None
Accordingly, I am requesting that the Resolution and
Appropriation Ordinance be included on the Council agenda for
action at its October 20, 2010, meeting.
