O3 1 LL23 Ju 1 b 1 `-, Page 1 of 1 rfc Hi my is Daniel Perreira, I'm the manager of Lexbrodie's tire in pahoa location, I understand that job's and having families get back to work is very important, especially in today economic crisis. But what about safety for everyday driver's. I'm just concerned and think a street light is needed at one the intersection at the entrance to pahoa town & malama market area. The roads aren't designed for tractor trailor vehicle that constantly in the area,to fill fuel pumps, container hauling etc. The other day I was with a customers vehicle on test drive, at exit of malama market intersection a waited for my turn to go left, while another vehicle in frt trying to make turn into the market area were waiting patiently, when tractor trailor with matson container came in from the highway heading towards pahoa town could not make the turn. The container came inches from her frt bumper , the driver thought he'd hit the car {but no impact,he almost stopped thinking he did }. This is just an example of what we're dealing with, I just fear for my employee's when on a test drive with customer's cars, accident's here is a weekly thing, If the woodland center open before light's installed. They'll be bigger problems. I know you're doing your best but, don't forget safety first.thanks for listening and I'm sure you'll make the right decision. Thankyou very much Daniel Perreira Cams" No. q03.1 Ref. To: P✓ Ref: Date AUG 17 2010
