BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24 -257, schedule 5 (35 mile per hour limit), subsection (c) Hilo, item (27), of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended to read as follows: (27) Puainako Street [ E. ite s i o r~,,,,., fi hundfe eighty rn ,f4e4--east of Wilde,. Road to western tef i ] 1 westbound lane, fr _a point four hundred fifty feet west of Kaumana Drive to its we terminus and eastbound lane, from a point 3.57 mi ea o Wilder Road to Komohana Street. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24 -259, schedule 7 (40 mile (-r hour limit), subsection (c) Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended), is amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: (� Puainako Street, westbound lane, from a point 3.30 miles w est of Komohana Street to a point four hundred fifty feet we of Kaumana Drive and eastbound la from its western terminus t a point 0.46 mile east of Wilder Road SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24 -260, schedule 8 (45 mile per hour limit), subsection (c) Hilo, item (3), of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (200.5 Edition, as amended), is amended to read as follows: (3) Puainako Street [ Komehana Street to ^ point five hun dred eight fo f et east of Wilder Read. , eastbound lane, from a point 3.44 miles east of Wilder Road to a point seven hundred feet in the easterly direction. SECTION 4. Chapter 24, article 10, division 1, section 24 -263, schedule 11 (55 mile per hour limit), subsection (c) Hilo, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as amended). is amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as follows: Puainako Street westbound lane, from Komohana Street to a point 3.30 miles in the westerly direction and eastbound lane, from a point 0.46 miles east of Wilder Road to a point 2.98 miles in the easterly direction. SECTION 5. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and stricken material and underscoring need not be included. SECTION 6. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to any person or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or applications of the ordinance which can be given effect without the invalid provision or application, and to this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
