AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 24 OF THE HAWAII COUNTY CO?DE 1983
(2005 EDITION, AS AMENDED), RELATING TO VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24 -264, schedule 12 (stop
intersections), subsection (f) Kona, of the Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 Edition, as
amended), is amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as
follows:
Ll Ali`i Drive, northbound approach to the Mamalahoa Byr)
Highway.
Mamalahoa Bypass Highway, northbound approa to A li'i
Mamalahoa Bypass Highway /Haleki`i Street intersectio all
qpproaches.
SECTION 2. Material to be repealed is bracketed and stricken. New material is
underscored. In printing this ordinance, the brackets, bracketed material and stricken material
and underscoring need not be included.
SECTION 3. If any provision of this ordinance, or the application thereof to an) person
or circumstance, is held invalid, such invalidity shall not affect other provisions or application:
of the ordinance which can be giN -en effect without the invalid provision or applica',i()r:.::r;�i to
this end, the provisions of this ordinance are declared to be severable.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shag take effect upon its approval.
