Comm. 971: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A MEMORANDUM (Res. 401-10) OF AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF HAWAI‘I DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH, HAWAI‘I DISTRICT HEALTH OFFICE FOR THE PURCHASE AND TRANSFER OF THREE VEHICLES (three Ford F-250 pickup trucks to be used as disaster response vehicles before, during and in the aftermath of a disaster or other public health emergency) From Finance Director Nancy Crawford, dated October 6, 2010, transmitting the above resolution. Comm. 972: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION (Bill 311) BONDS OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING ALL OR A PORTION OF THE COSTS OF VARIOUS PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS; FIXING THE FORM, DENOMINATIONS, AND CERTAIN OTHER DETAILS OF SUCH BONDS AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR SALE TO THE PUBLIC; AND AUTHORIZING THE TAKING OF OTHER ACTIONS RELATING TO THE ISSUANCE AND SALE OF THE BONDS (authorizes the issuance of up to $56 million in general obligation bonds for the County of Hawai‘i for capital improvement projects and includes $500,000 for bond issuance costs) From Mayor William P.
