Comm. 966: AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 10-60, AS AMENDED,
(Bill 308) RELATING TO PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS AND FINANCING THEREOF FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, 2010 TO JUNE 30, 2011 (by appropriating the second
increment of fuel tax increase established by Resolution No. 504-08 of $6.2 million to the
Capital Budget for various Public Works, Highways Division projects. Allotments from
these program appropriations shall be made to the specific projects listed in Exhibit A,
attached to Bill 308)

Road (Ane Keohokalole Highway) - Private project for $5 million to the Capital Budget}

KNOWLEDGE IS LEARNED” PROGRAM GRANT FOR THE HAWAI‘I POLICE

ENDING JUNE 30, 2011 (by appropriating revenues of $145,457 in the Federal
Grants –“Na‘auao – Where Knowledge is Learned” Account and appropriating same to
the Police Department’s “Na‘auao – Where Knowledge is Learned” Account)

HAWAI‘I DISTRICT HEALTH OFFICE FOR THE PURCHASE AND TRANSFER OF
THREE VEHICLES (three Ford F-250 pickup trucks to be used as disaster response
vehicles before, during and in the aftermath of a disaster or other public health emergency)

Comm. 972: AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF GENERAL OBLIGATION
(Bill 311) BONDS OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I FOR THE PURPOSE OF FUNDING ALL OR
A PORTION OF THE COSTS OF VARIOUS PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS;
FIXING THE FORM, DENOMINATIONS, AND CERTAIN OTHER DETAILS OF
SUCH BONDS AND PROVIDING FOR THEIR SALE TO THE PUBLIC; AND
AUTHORIZING THE TAKING OF OTHER ACTIONS RELATING TO THE
ISSUANCE AND SALE OF THE BONDS (authorizes the issuance of up to $56 million in
general obligation bonds for the County of Hawai‘i for capital improvement projects and
includes $500,000 for bond issuance costs)
