Emily I Naeole, Member Vice Chair Dominic Yagong Member J Yoshimoto, Member HAWAII COUNTY COUNCIL COMMITTEE ON FINANCE hti c7 --1 NOTICE OF SITE VISIT AND PUBLIC HEARING 2 ry ON RESOLUTION NO. 377-10 c� — Cx DATE: November 9, 2010 (Tuesday) = ; ; SITE VISIT PUBLIC HEARING. _" Place: Meet at the Old Homestead Road, Na'alehu Community Center also known as Kama`oa Road (See Directions Below) TIME: 3:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. (Note Please turn cell phones, pagers, and other mobile communication devices on silent mode ) Pursuant to HRS 92 -7, notice is hereby given that a Site Visit and Public Hearing of the County Council's Committee on Finance will be held to view the property and hear testimony from the public regarding the following Resolution: Res. 377 - 10 (Comm. 901): Resolution authorizing the abandonment of a portion of the Old Homestead Road in Ka`u (also known as Kama`oa Road), and sale of remnant The Committee will convene at 3 00 p.m. for the Site Visit The property is a segment of the roadway identified as the "Old Homestead Road," from the intersection of South Point Road and extending westward to Kama`oa Road Following the Site Visit, the Committee will hold a Public Hearing at 5.00 p m at the Na'alehu Community Center in Kali. Directions to Site Visit: From the intersection of MAmalahoa Highway (Highway 11) and South Point Road, proceed south on South Point Road for approximately 1.6 miles to the intersection of South Point Road and Kama`oa Road, and turn right (west) on Kama`oa Road. There is limited parking alongside the first 700 feet of roadway, thereafter there is no turn around. The public is encouraged to carpool. Please do not block or park in the roadway.
