Please pass Res. 363 -10 in order to stop the commercial exploitation of Hawaii's reefs.
How is taking fish from the reefs to sell any different from collecting nene to sell,
or collecting silversword from Haleakala to make a few dollars? You know those
activities would never be tolerated. How are the fish any different?
Alii would never allow the reefs to be plundered, and neither should the State.
Hawaii's fish do not belong in aquariums - they belong on their reefs.
Please help protect Hawaii's wildlife, reefs and traditions.
