Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 209, reports as follows:
Bill No. 209, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 670,
dated February 24, 2000, amends Ordinance No. 99-71, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 2000. The amendment is as follows:
PARKS & RECREATION:
Ahalanui Pazk/Pohoiki Park Development-FEMA 110-559-5590.27-115 $1,020,330
Ahalanui Park/Pohoiki Pazk Development-County 110-559-5590.28-115 $ 340,110
Funds for this project(s) shall be provided from:
Federal Grants Receivable $1,020,330
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - $ 340,110
Fund Balance and/or Other Sources
These funds will be used to replace the Kalapana-Kaimu parks destroyed by the Kilauea lava
flow.
Your Committee on Finance is accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 209 and
recommends it pass first reading.
