This project is to plan, design, and construct a new county park site on a 20 -acre parcel anticipated to be dedicated to the County. The central location of HPP relative to the numerous residential subdivisions in lower Puna make it an attractive site for a public recreational hub. The project initially proposes to establish grassed sports fields, perimeter fencing, a multi - sport covered play court facility, a comfort station and related infrastructure necessary to provide safe public recreational opportunities (i.e., parking, lighting, potable water, power, etc.). The project will involve public input and participation in its planning and design stages to ensure maximum benefit to the community it is intended to serve. If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call the Department of Parks and Recreation. 1114/ -(/ Nancy E.
