Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 211, reports as follows:
Bill No. 211, transmitted by Finance Director Harry Takahashi, via Communication No. 672,
dated February 24, 2000, amends Ordinance No. 99-71, as amended, the Capital Budget ending
June 30, 2000, by adding the following project:
PARKS & RECREATION:
Seven Seas Luau House Improvement I10-599-5591.53-115 $500,000
Funds for this project shall be provided from:
General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund - $500,000
Fund Balance and/or Other Sources
Funds will be used to repair extensive termite damage and to replace the air conditioning system.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 211 and
recommends it pass first reading.
