Aloha Councilmembers,
November 7, 2010
I ask you to oppose the proposed sale of Kama'oa Road. I live many miles away in Hamakua. Our area
also has government owned roads that have been gated for many years. Even though some are dead
ends, they would all be interesting walks through beautiful country. As our population grows, these
roads will become more valuable as places for our people to connect with the aina.
The amount of money the county would receive from the proposed sale would be a pittance compared to
what the road could be worth to future generations. Please oppose the sale.
