SUBJECT: Resolutions Establishing the Organization of the 2010 -2012 Council Term
For your review and consideration, attached are resolutions establishing the following:
(1) Designation of the Council Chair and Vice Chair;
(2) Appointment of the County Clerk;
(3) Adoption of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council;
(4) Appointment of the Committee Chairs, Vice Chairs and members of the Committees
for:
(a) Finance;
(b) Planning;
(c) Public Works and Parks & Recreation;
(d) Governmental Relations;
(e) Human Services, Social Services and Public Safety;
(f) Economic Development and Mass Transit;
(g) Environmental Management;
(h) Agriculture, Water and Energy Sustainability; and
(5) Appointment of the Representative and Alternate Representative to the Executive
Committee of the Hawaii State Association of Counties.
