No. 964/Bill No.306 <br /> PLACE: Sheraton Keauhou Bay Resort& Spa <br /> 78-128 Ehukai Street <br /> Kailua-Kona,Hawaii <br /> TIME: 11:15 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Planning,to which was referred Bill No. 306 reports as follows: <br /> Bill No. 306,transmitted via Communication No. 964 from Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated <br /> September 27, 2010, presents a proposed amendment to Chapter 25, Hawaii County Code 1983 (2005 <br /> Edition, as amended). <br /> Bill No. 306 seeks to increase the filing fee for a Use Permit Application from $250 to $500. <br /> Bobby Jean Leithead-Todd, Director of the Planning Department was present at the meeting. Also <br /> present from the Planning Department was Mr. Daryn Arai. Ms. Leithead-Todd informed your <br /> Committee that all fees were raised to$500, but this particular item needed Council approval because it <br /> required an amendment to the County Code. Ms. Leithead-Todd further informed your Committee that <br /> the Use Permit Application fee was the last fee that needed to be increased. Once approved by Council, <br /> it would be consistent with the rest of the fees. There was no discussion by your Committee members.
