Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 222, reports as follows:
Bill No. 222, transmitted by Council Member Dominic Yagong, via Communication No. 691,
dated March 9, 2000, amends Ordinance No. 99-71, as amended, the Capital Budget for the
fiscal year ending June 30, 2000, by adding the following projects:
PARKS AND RECREATION
Kukuihaele Park Public Restroom 110-599-5593.81-115 $150,000
Haina County Parks Lights 110-599-5593.82-115 125,000
Honoka`a Sports Complex Improvement 110-599-5593.83-115 125,000
Hakalau County Park Backstop, Fencing 110-599-559].54-115 150,000
& Bleachers
Honomu Gymnasium Repairs & Painting 110-599-5591.55-115 175,000

Total $900,000
Funds for this project shall be provided from General Obligation Bonds, Capital Projects Fund,
Fund Balance, and/or other Sources.
An amendment was made to Bill No. 222 to correct a reference in this measure to make it
consistent with its title.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 222, as amended
to Draft 2, and recommends it pass first reading.
