RE: SUPPORT OF BILL 311 RELATING TO ISSUANCE OF GENERAL
OBLIGATION BONDS
Council Chair Yoshimoto and members of the Council:
My name is Leslie Isemoto, President of Isemoto Contracting Co., Ltd. As an Island
based contractor, we employ approximately 160 field employees.
Bill 311 will provide the opportunity to keep our employees working, as well as our
subcontractor employees.
The economic down turn has created the highest unemployment of the four Counties and
it does not appear the economy will turn around in the near future.
Projects included in the Bill provide necessary infrastructure and community
development.
We humbly request your support of Bill 311.
