Dear Chairman Yagong and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate James McCully from the South Hilo District to the Hawai'i County
Windward Planning Commission. Mr. McCully is a 37 -year resident of Hawaii. He is a
self - employed farmer at Mauna Kea Orchids and simultaneously manages real estate with
McCully Works.
Mr. McCully's community services involves past and present membership with the Hilo Puna
Young Farmers, Hawaii Ginger Industry Association, and the Hawaii Island Chamber of
Commerce. He states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will fill a
vacant at -large position and serve a term to end on December 31, 2015.
