Violence Against Women Training Project. These funds, being provided through the State of Hawai'i Department of the Attorney General, are to be used to fund training, and to develop and implement more effective police, court and prosecution polices, protocols, orders and services, specifically devoted to preventing, identifying and responding to violent crimes against women. Enclosed is a resolution to authorize the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General for this grant. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the $43,822 into the Violence Against Women Training Project account.
