Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred
Resolution 23 -11, reports as follows:
Resolution 23 -11, transmitted by Finance Director Nancy Crawford, via Communication 39,
dated December 16, 2010, authorizing the grant of easement for water meter box purposes at
Ka`ao, District of Hamakua, County and State of Hawaii, tax map key: (3)4 -5- 003 -18 (por.) to
the Water Board of the County of Hawaii.
Installation of a new water line and hydrant are building permit requirements for the new
classrooms at the Honoka`a Ward of the Church of Latter Day Saints, and the requested
easement is to place a water meter box on the County's parcel. The easement will be in favor of
the Water Board of the County of Hawaii and will assist the Church of the Latter Day Saints to
be in compliance with building code requirements for the new classroom facilities.
There was no discussion from members of the Committee.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Resolution 23 -11, and recommends its adoption.
