Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 2, reports as follows:
Bill 2, transmitted jointly with Resolution 16 -11, by Finance Director Nancy Crawford via
Communication No. 16, dated November 9, 2010, amends Ordinance No. 10 -59, as amended, the
Operating Budget ending June 30, 2011. The amendment is as follows:

Resolution No. 16 -11, authorizes the acceptance of this monetary donation from Target. These funds will
be used to support the Hawaii Police Department by purchasing tactical bike patrol equipment which will
expand the Kona Community Policing Section's bike patrol unit.
There was no discussion on this measure.
Pursuant to Article XI1I, Section 13 -12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of
Hawaii is authorized to accept this donations.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 2 and recommends it
pass first reading.
