No. 233-00 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> TIME: 10:35 A.M. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 233-00, reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 233-00, transmitted jointly with Bill No. 234 by Finance Director Harry <br /> Takahashi, via Communication No. 714, dated March 20, 2000, authorizes the Office of the <br /> Mayor to enter into negotiated agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy, through the State <br /> Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism (DBEDT), for a Rebuild <br /> America grant. <br /> This grant will be used to fund participation of the Hawaii County Energy Coordinator in on- <br /> going meetings of the Rebuild Hawaii Consortium, an organization devoted to upgrading the <br /> <br /> energy efficiency of buildings in the State of Hawaii through effective collaboration by <br /> <br /> participating agencies and business concerns.
