Re: Resolution Accepting Donation
Enclosed is a resolution accepting a monetary donation of $1,175.75 from Club 200, c/o HPM,
380 Kanoelehua Avenue, Hilo, Hawaii 96720. These funds are being given to provide
support to the Hawai' i County Police Department, and will be used to purchase materials
such as pamphlets and brochures to educate the public in the fight against methamphetamine
drugs.
Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating the
funds into the Police Administration Division's OCE account.

To accept a donation of $1,175.75 from Club 200 to purchase materials such as brochures and pamphlets
to educate the County's youth in the fight against methamphetamine under account number 010 -201-
5203.02.225.
B. BACKGROUND AND JUSTIFICATION (USE ADDITIONAL SHEETS AS NEEDED):
The Hawaii Police Athletic Federation is donating funds to educate the County's youth on the prevention of
methamphetamine use. The materials will include educational items such as brochures and pamphlets.
