Attached for your review please find a resolution to request the State of Hawai`i to enact a Clean
Energy Assessment District (CEAD) in the County of Hawaii a CEAD identifies areas for special
assessment enabling the county to adopt programs, promote opportunity, and finance affordable clean
energy for the residents /businesses in each district through participation in Property Assessed Clean
Energy [PACE] and other funding.
Please place this resolution on the appropriate committee agenda for February 17, 2010.
