SUBJECT: Request for Presentation from `Aina Koa Pono, LLC
I am requesting time on the Council's Committee agenda for a presentation by `Aina Koa Pono, LLC.
This company was recently selected as the recipient of a sustainable biofuels contract from Hawaiian
Electric Company. They will be presenting for about 30 minutes on their proposal to develop a new
processing facility in the Ka`u District and will be open for questions after that as well.
Please refer this matter to the appropriate committee for the March 1, 2011 agenda.
