SUBJECT: TRAFFIC CODE AMENDMENT:
KAPEHU ROAD - KAPEHU HOMESTEAD ROAD INTERSECTION —
STOP INTERSECTION
We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, article 10, division 2 (Moving
Vehicles), section 24 -264, schedule 12 (Stop intersections), subsection (b) North Hilo
be amended by adding the following to be appropriately numbered and to read as
follows:
(_) KAPEHU ROAD, APPROACH TO KAPEHU HOMESTEAD ROAD.
The amendment is necessary to assign right of way to this recently paved (Kapehu
Road) intersection.
A location map is attached for your reference.
