Dear Chairman Yagong and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to inform you that I have appointed Ms. Ernelle Downs of Council District 6 to
the County of Hawai'i Mayor's Committee on the Status of Women. She will serve a term to
expire on December 31, 2014 replacing Ms. Andrea Mejia whose term expired.
It is my pleasure to inform you that I have also appointed Ms. Linda Ugalde of Council District 6
to the County of Hawai'i Mayor's Committee on the Status of Women. She will serve a term to
expire on December 31, 2014 replacing Ms. Charmaine Ka -ipo whose term expired.
I have also reappointed Ms. Kimberly Schneider of Council District 9 to the County of Hawai'i
Mayor's Committee on the Status of Women. Her reappointment term will expire on
December 31, 2014.
Members appointed to this advisory committee do not require council confirmation; however,
