Subject: Resolution relating to the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and more
than one fiscal year for a multi -year lease of two high volume
multifunction copy machines for the Office of the County Clerk- Support
Services Division
Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into a multi -year lease agreement
for two high volume multifunction copy machines for the Office of the County Clerk -
Support Services Division.
Due to the time constraints of the procurement process, we ask that this request be
waived from the Committee on Finance and placed on the March 2, 2011, Council
agenda.

RE: Resolution No. 37 -11 : AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A
LATER FISCAL YEAR AND MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI -YEAR
LEASE OF TWO HIGH VOLUME MULTIFUNCTION COPY MACHINES FOR THE
OFFICE OF THE COUNTY CLERK- SUPPORT SERVICES DIVISION.
Pursuant to Section 2(g) of Rule 4 of the Rules of Procedure of the Council of the County of
Hawaii, this written request is submitted with my approval that the above - referenced matter be
waived from the Committee on Finance to the full Council for immediate action. If this request is
denied please refer this matter to the Committee on Finance for placement on its future agenda.
