MELROSE (COUNCIL DISTRICT 2), JOHN "MIKE" MIDDLESWORTH (COUNCIL DISTRICT 3), PATRICK L. KAHAWAIOLAA (COUNCIL DISTRICT 4), RENE SIRACUSA (COUNCIL DISTRICT 5), LINDA UGALDE (COUNCIL DISTRICT 6), SUSAN MADDOX (COUNCIL DISTRICT 7), DRU KANUHA (COUNCIL DISTRICT 8) AND PETER HENDRICKS (COUNCIL DISTRICT 9) TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAII 2011 REDISTRICTING COMMISSION, From Mayor William P. Serving the Interests of the People of our Island Hawai `i County is an Equal Opportunity Provider and Employer GRC -3 Page 2 March 1, 2011 Comm. 107.1: From Council Chair Dominic Yagong, dated February 16, 2011, informing Council Members that he is scheduling a Special Meeting of the full Council at 6:00 p.m. on March 1, 2011, to consider the nine nominees to the County of Hawaii Redistricting Commission, as submitted by Mayor William P. Kenoi on February 15, 2011. Pursuant to Hawaii County Charter (2008 Edition), Section 3- 17(d), the reapportionment commission shall be appointed by March 1 of the reapportionment year. Comm. 107.2: From Council Chair Dominic Yagong, dated February 22, 2011, informing Council Members that pursuant to Rule 10, Voting, of the Rules of Procedure and Organization of the Council of the County of Hawaii, Item No. 15, adopted on February 16, 2011, all nominees appointed by the Mayor to boards and commissions shall be voted on individually. Comm. 107.3: From Mayor William P. Kenoi, dated February 22, 2011, withdrawing Comm. 107 and replacing it with Comm. 107.3, which requests confirmation of the following individuals to the County of Hawaii Redistricting Commission: Valerie T. Poindexter (Council District 1) Jeffrey M. Melrose (Council District 2) John "Mike" Middlesworth (Council District 3) Patrick L. Kahawaioloaa (Council District 4) Rene Siracusa (Council District 5) Linda Ugalde (Council District 6) Dru Kanuha (Council District 7) Craig `Bo" Kahui (Council District 8) Joseph A.
