Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill 23,
reports as follows:
Bill 23, transmitted by the Director of Public Works Warren H. W. Lee, via
Communication No. 78, dated January 19, 2011, amends the Hawaii County Code 1983, (2005
Edition, as Amended), Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24 -264, Schedule 12 (Stop
intersections), subsection (e) Kohala, by adding Mana Place, approach to Mana Road.
This is necessary to update the Hawai`i County Code to reflect existing conditions.
There were no statements from the public for this item.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Bill 23, and recommends its passage on first reading.
