Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation, to which was referred Bill 24,
reports as follows:
Bill 24, transmitted by the Director of Public Works Warren H. W. Lee, via
Communication No. 79, dated January 19, 2011, amends the Hawai`i County
Code 1983, (2005 Edition, as Amended), Chapter 24, article 10, division 2, section 24 -264,
schedule 12 (Stop intersections), subsection (b) North Hilo, by adding Kapehu Road, approach to
Kapehu Homestead Road.
This is necessary to assign a right -of -way to this recently paved intersection at Kapehu Road and
Kapehu Homestead Road.
There were no statements from the public for this item.
Your Committee on Public Works and Parks and Recreation is in accord with the purpose and
intent of Bill 24, and recommends its passage on first reading.
