She is currently a self - employed planning <br />consultant. Prior to that, she was director at the Hawaii Wildfire Management <br />Organization. <br />Ms. Byrne's community service includes membership with the Kohala Natural Healing <br />Arts 501 Board, Malama Kohala Kahakai, and Kako'o. She states that she is not <br />affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, she will serve a term to expire on <br />December 31, 2015, replacing E.
