On March 10, 201,1, Council Members received a privileged communication from Corporation
Counsel Lincoln Ashida regarding Communication No. 83, relating to the formation of a budget
ad hoc committee, which was approved by the Council's Committee on Finance on 2 -15 -2011.
I am requesting an executive session be convened pursuant to HRS section 92- 5(a)(4) to consult
with our attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the Council's powers, duties, privileges,
immunities, and liabilities.
