Subject: Request for Special Meeting of the Hawaii County Council — Tsunami
Emergency Briefing
Pursuant to Hawaii County Charter Section 13 -20, I would like to request that the
Hawaii County Council schedule a "Special Meeting of the Hawaii County Council" to
be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011, 5:30 p.m. in the Council Room, at the West
Hawaii Civic Center, 74 -5044 Ane Keohokdlole Highway, Building A, Kona, Hawaii.
The purpose of the meeting is to hold a special meeting for a civil defense briefing on the
March 11, 2011 tsunami emergency and response.
