Hawaii County Council -10 Page 2 March 12, 2011 MEMORIALS, CERTIFICATES OF MERIT, AND EXPRESSIONS OF CONDOLENCE 5:30 P.M.: STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS APPROVAL OF MINUTES COMMUNICATION Comm. 132: REQUEST FOR A SPECIAL MEETING OF THE HAWAII COUNTY COUNCIL — TSUNAMI EMERGENCY BRIEFING BY CIVIL DEFENSE From Council Chairperson Dominic Yagong, dated March 11, 2011, requesting that the Hawaii County Council schedule a "Special Meeting of the Hawaii County Council' to be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011, 5:30 p.m. in the Council Room, at the West Hawaii Civic Center, 74 -5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Building A, Kona, Hawaii. The purpose of the meeting is to hold a special meeting for a civil defense briefing on the March 11, 2011 tsunami emergency and response. ORDER OF RESOLUTIONS BILLS FOR ORDINANCES (FIRST READING) ORDER OF THE DAY (SECOND OR FINAL READING) REPORTS REFERRALS FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION A 2/3 vote pursuant to HRS Section 92 -4 and Rule 10 of the Rules of Procedure of the County Council is necessary to hold an executive meeting. OTHER BUSINESS (Including but not limited to consideration of vetoed items, if any, or reconsideration of actions on agenda items.) If audio stream between Kona and Hilo is lost for more than a short period of time, the meeting will be terminated.
