It is my pleasure to reappoint Emile W. Wery to the Hawai'i County Veterans Advisory
Commission: Mr. Wery is from Pahoa and will continue to represent the Military Order
of the Purple Heart (MOPH).
Mr. Wery is the Commander and Senior Vice Commander of the MOPH, a member of
the Korean War Veterans and the chair of the Hawai'i Veterans Parade Committee.
He states that he is not affiliated with any political party. If confirmed, he will serve a
term to expire on December 31, 2015.
