RESOLUTION NO. ��-
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER FISCAL
YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI -YEAR LEASE FOR
ONE (1) COPIER FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES
WHEREAS, Section 10 -11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease
or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal
year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into a multi -year lease
agreement for five (5) years, for one (1) multifunctional copier for the Department of
Human Resources as their current copier is nearly 8 years old and in need of
replacement; and
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII:
1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease
agreement for one (1) copier for the Department of Human Resources.
2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the
anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this copier shall be leased for a period of
five (5) years at a cost not to exceed $325 per month, plus $0.0099 for each black
and white copy in excess of the monthly print allowance, and $0.0790 per color
copy.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii
shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of the Mayor, the Department of
Human Resources, and the Finance Department.
